Dear friends
I am starting my blog today with something that I hold as very special. "The power and joy of giving". Power, because only you can decide whether to give and joy, because I have discovered that there is pleasure in receiving, but there is immense joy in giving. We are all in this world for a limited period and while we are here, let's make life more meaningful and purposeful. Let's learn to add to this world rather than taking, something that we do all our lives.
We can give the precious gift of life to someone who is dying or in critical need of a vital organ in order to add a few more years to their lives. This body of ours, will be consigned to the flames, or buried according to the prevailing customs of the faith we follow. Why can we not, then choose to donate our organs after we are gone and do not need them any more, so that they can help someone live after we are gone.
